Season’s Greetings
As another year draws to a close, I am delighted to share the latest edition of Branching Out and to reflect on the busy and inspiring quarter across our network. Congratulations to everyone. Your stories, achievements, and the collective dedication of our members, volunteers, and supporters shine brightly throughout these pages.
This past quarter was particularly special as we came together at NSW Parliament House to celebrate our 70-year milestone. I know many of you, while preparing your own events, have had that moment of wondering, How are we going to pull this off? Arranging an afternoon/evening worthy of thanking our branch volunteers who travelled to Sydney was no small task. Yet, together, we delivered a memorable celebration. It was truly heartwarming to acknowledge so many of you in person and, through you, every branch, for the commitment, compassion, and care you provide under the beacon of Can Assist. Seeing volunteers from across the state meet, reconnect, and share ideas was equally uplifting.
