Branching Out Newsletter – Issue 49
Dear Can Assist Community,
At a time when global tensions and uncertainty dominate headlines, the work of Can Assist stands as a powerful reminder of the good that flourishes in local communities. For someone navigating a cancer diagnosis, knowing that neighbours and strangers alike are willing to give their time, care, and resources is an inspiring affirmation that kindness endures, no matter what is happening in the wider world. These following pages showcase some of the wonderful support received and activities undertaken across our network.
I am also thrilled to share that in August we opened a new Can Assist Branch, Canola Way. This community of volunteers, spearheaded out of Coolamon will cover surrounding towns of Marrar, Malong, Ganmain and Rannock. I look forward to seeing their activities fill our future Branching Out pages.
Whilst celebrating a new branch, its was also wonderful to bring together our branch
