Tumut Winter 2026 Highlights

In June, the Winter Solstice Swim/Stretch was held at the Tumut River beach at Reflections Caravan Park.
The event was organised by Donna Martin and a group of local ladies who regularly swim in the Tumut River and thought it would be a great way to raise funds for Can Assist Tumut.

The day saw the community come together, with 50 people and one dog taking the plunge and braving the cold water!

Tumut Can Assist members were also on hand to help with the BBQ and sell raffle tickets.
The event raised the impressive amount of $4,251.60 for Can Assist Tumut.
Donna was overwhelmed by the wonderful support from the community on the day and hopes to make the Winter Solstice Swim/Stretch an annual fundraiser for the branch.
