Leeton’s sea of pink helps our own cancer patients

The Girls Night In was an evening for all to enjoy.
A sea of pink, an evening of laughs and a whopping amount raised – it is fair to say Leeton’s Girls Night In ticked all of the boxes.
Held on Saturday, October 26 at the Wade Hotel, around 80 people donned their best pink outfit and joined forces to raise important funds for Can Assist Leeton.
The event has become tradition for many women in Leeton to attend each year, but organisers were pleased to report there were many new faces taking part for the first time in 2024.
“The art auction was a big highlight, as well as the novelty auctions as well,” organiser Kate Ryan said.
“The atmosphere was fantastic. Everyone was there for a good cause.
“There were lots of new faces this year. They said now that they have been, they’ll make it a regular thing to come to from now on.”
While final counting is still taking place, the committee behind the event is hopeful around $10,000 will have been raised in 2024.
