Harden Can Assist Debutante Ball

The Annual Harden Can Assist Debutante Ball was held on Friday May 22nd with eight beautiful Debutantes and their very handsome partners enjoying a wonderful day and night. More than $11,000 was raised for local cancer support through this year’s ball, with strong community support helping ensure local families facing cancer can access treatment and care.
The Ball was held in the Mechanics Institute in Harden where 160 family and friends of the Debs and partners enjoyed a night of celebration of the young people. They were presented to Life Member of Can Assist June Howe, and Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke MP.
June and Steph did a wonderful job welcoming the Debs and partners, making sure they were enjoying the experience and settling their nerves.
The Debs and their partners then did the traditional dances for the audience, who were extremely appreciative and supportive of their newfound moves.
Congratulations to you all on taking part in this traditional event for communities and hope you made memories and friends to remember.
