Dunedoo Can Assist News
The Dunedoo Branch of Can Assist has had a busy month.

In December, members of the Dunedoo Branch of Can Assist celebrated their last meeting of the year with a wonderful Christmas Dinner at the Dunedoo Hotel. The pub generously donated their dining room for the function. Members held a Kris Kringle, which was lots of fun. During their meeting, members continued to do the important work of planning fundraising and ways to help local people with cancer manage the many expenses they juggle when fighting cancer. It was delightful to welcome Sarah Bowman as a guest to the Christmas party. She is Judy and Ronald’s Bowman’s granddaughter from Florida.

At the recent Australia Day Awards in Dunedoo, our secretary, Ms Julie Rowbotham was presented with a Community Award for Service to the Community. All our members feel so proud of Julie, who works tirelessly behind the scenes with a deep passion to help those in need. Congratulations Julie! We would also like to offer congratulations to all award recipients.
