Deniliquin high tea tally is in

Another sell out high tea event has raised $7500 for Deniliquin Can Assist.

The tally from the April 16 fundraiser at The Crossing Cafe was confirmed late last week.

Branch president Kellie Crossley said the community response was overwhelming, with tickets for the event selling out in 45 minutes.

She said 128 guests enjoyed a high tea of sweet and savoury treats.

Contributing to the fundraising tally was the auction of a table sponsored by Nutrien Ag Solutions, which would ensure each table guest would receive champagne, party favours and a beautifully dressed table with flowers. This was won by Alexandra Macdonald.

A mini raffle was another highlight of the day, with numerous items generously donated by local businesses and community members.
