ABOUT US
Can Assist Yass Valley was formed in 2004. Funds are raised to provide financial assistance to people in Yass town, nearby villages and surrounding rural areas who are undergoing cancer treatment. Typically each year the twenty five or so members and supporting organisations raise and distribute in the order of $60,000 to approximately fifty patients.

Financial Assistance
We understand that families struggle to cope with a reduced income as a result of a cancer diagnosis and that they face increased expenses from travel, accommodation and medical costs.

Can Assist Port Macquarie is run by a local committee, raising funds locally, with 100% of those funds going directly to those living in the Port Macquarie Hastings area who have been diagnosed with cancer and need to travel for treatment.
