Can Assist Wagga Wagga was originally formed in 1979. After a brief closure the branch started again in 2017. We are a group of community minded people who raise money to assist locals who are undergoing treatment for cancer.

Financial Assistance
We understand that families struggle to cope with a reduced income as a result of a cancer diagnosis and that they face increased expenses from travel, accommodation and medical costs.
Accommodation Assistance
Lilier Lodge provides accommodation for people undergoing cancer treatment at nearby facilities including the Riverina Cancer Care Centre, Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and Calvary Hospital. Local cancer patients are also welcomed to drop in during the day.

The challenge concluded on 31 August, but donations close tomorrow at 11:59pm, so there’s still time to show your support.
Our fundraisers across NSW clocked up more than 3,000km together throughout the month — going the distance for country cancer patients. 🛣️
