ABOUT US
Can Assist Port Macquarie was re-established in September 2026 after recognising the need in our community. Cancer hits any one at any time, without warning and can place huge financial strain on individuals and families. The Port Macquarie Branch Committee consists of dedicated volunteers who have all been impacted by cancer and understand how a cancer diagnosis affects people. Working hard to raise funds locally, we are able to offer financial support to community members with costs associated when having to travel for cancer treatment.
Areas Serviced: Port Macquarie, Lake Cathie, Bonny Hills, Camden Haven area, Kew, Kendall, Thrumster, Wauchope, Northshore and surrounding areas.
Financial Assistance
We understand that families struggle to cope with a reduced income as a result of a cancer diagnosis and that they face increased expenses from travel, accommodation and medical costs.
Our Supporters
Our Branch would not exist without our members, volunteers and community supporters. At this time we need support both in volunteer time to run the branch and in fundraising dollars to assist with supporting those with a cancer diagnosis.
