ABOUT US
Can Assist Narrandera was formed in 1990. Local volunteers supporting local families affected by cancer. Our monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Narrandera Ex-Servicemen’s Club at 6.30pm.
Our cancer support group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 2pm at various venues for afternoon tea. Please contact our mobile number for the next venue and join us.

Financial Assistance
We understand that families struggle to cope with a reduced income as a result of a cancer diagnosis and that they face increased expenses from travel, accommodation and medical costs.
Accommodation Assistance
Lilier Lodge provides accommodation for people undergoing cancer treatment at nearby facilities including the Riverina Cancer Care Centre, Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and Calvary Hospital.
Purpose built by Can Assist and the Cancer Council NSW, with the support of local and regional communities, it is managed by Can Assist. The 21 bed lodge is a warm and supportive home away from home.

Calling all cancer patients and carers from country NSW travelling long distances for treatment
State government petrol rebates are now 40c a km and accommodation is covered up to $120 a night.
Apply if you are eligible and call your local Can Assist branch if more assistance is needed.
