Manning Valley BRANCH

Hunter New England Region

Assisting our community, locally…

ABOUT US

Can Assist Manning Valley was formed in 2012. Financially the Branch assisted over 500 families in 8 years. With the associated costs of a cancer diagnosis people have needed support in the most difficult time in their lives. Our dedicated volunteers have worked tirelessly to raise funds. Since inception our branch has been supported by a caring and generous community. Knowing that every dollar raised stays within their local community is a testament to our mojo “ Locals helping Locals”.

Financial Assistance

We understand that families struggle to cope with a reduced income as a result of a cancer diagnosis and that they face increased expenses from travel, accommodation and medical costs.

Our Supporters

Our Branch would not exist without our members, volunteers and supporters both from within the community and further afield. Can Assist expresses our thanks.

🏃‍♀️ There’s still time to support us in Can Do The Distance! 💚

The challenge concluded on 31 August, but donations close tomorrow at 11:59pm, so there’s still time to show your support.

Our fundraisers across NSW clocked up more than 3,000km together throughout the month — going the distance for country cancer patients. 🛣️

On behalf of our branch, a huge thank you to every fundraiser, donor and member of our community who helped us do the distance this August. 🫶

👉 Head to www.candothedistance.org.au, select our branch and make a donation.

Save the date for 2027! 🎉Registrations open in July.

You might be seeing Include a Charity Week popping up this week. But what does it actually mean? 🤔💚

Include a Charity Week is a national Australian campaign encouraging people to think about the causes they care about and consider leaving a gift to charity in their Will.

But what does leaving a gift in your Will actually involve? What can you leave? Does it have to be a large amount? And what about your loved ones?

Swipe through to learn more about gifts in Wills and how you can leave a lasting legacy for people affected by cancer in country NSW.

👉 Want to include our branch in your Will?
