Balranald BRANCH
Far West Region
Can Assist Balranald was formed in 2007. The branch raises funds to provide general and financial support to patients and families in a remote rural area who are undergoing cancer treatment. Help is always at hand by just giving us a call.
Areas Serviced: Balranald, Euston, Hatfield, Penarie, Tooleybuc
We understand that families struggle to cope with a reduced income as a result of a cancer diagnosis and that they face increased expenses from travel, accommodation and medical costs.
Our Branch would not exist without our members, volunteers and community supporters. We thank them for their contribution.
Areas Serviced: Balranald, Euston, Hatfield, Penarie, Tooleybuc

📢 NSW Parliamentary Inquiry releases 44 recommendations for change!
“This report is both welcome and timely; demanding meaningful and lasting reform. Can Assist effectiveness, collaboration and hard work in our submission clearly identifies the problems and they are agreed here in the findings . Now is the time to concentrate and actively work all together on the solutions. Our communities have stepped up and have been finally heard. Can Assist continue to fulfil our role in supporting those in need.” Vicki Meyer, President and Chair of Can Assist
We draw specific reference to recommendation 2 regarding IPTAAS –and encourage swift government action.
