Armidale BRANCH
Hunter New England Region
Can Assist Armidale was formed in 2000. The active membership base raises funds to provide timely and much needed financial assistance to people in our local community who are undergoing cancer treatment. The branch works closely with the Hunter New England Health social workers and Aboriginal support workers.
Areas Serviced: Aberfoyle, Abington, Acacia Park, Argyle, Armidale, Ben Venue, Bona Vista, Boorolong, Castle Doyle, Commissioners Waters, Dangarsleigh, Donald Creek, Dumaresq, Duval, East Armidale, Enmore, Hillgrove, Invergowrie, Jeogla, Kellys Plains, Lyndhurst, Madgwick, Metz, Newling, North Hill, Puddledock, Saumarez, Saumarez Ponds, Soudan Heights, South Hill, St Patricks, Thalgarrah, Tilbuster, Wards Mistake, West Armidale, Wollomombi, Wongwibinda
We understand that families struggle to cope with a reduced income as a result of a cancer diagnosis and that they face increased expenses from travel, accommodation and medical costs.
Our Branch would not exist without our members, volunteers and community supporters. We thank them for their contribution.

Thanks Ms Skinner! Can Assist always appreciates when someone chooses to include Can Assist as a beneficiary in their will.
With one recent bequest from a lady named Ms Skinner, we have already in this financial year been able to relieve the burden of accommodation costs for four country families when staying in Sydney to support their loved ones when receiving cancer treatment. Can Assist's network is so grateful for Ms Skinner's thoughtfulness in planning a bequest within her will.
We ensure the benefactors' lasting legacy will meet their wishes in supporting country cancer patients in NSW. Need more information?
