A ‘boy from the bush’ (across 3 countries: Australia, NZ and South Africa) and with a wide range of career experiences spanning the agricultural sector, property sector, marketing and conservation, Graeme brings a wide generalist skillset to the Board from advocacy through to management, business development and community engagement.  

Since moving to Leeton in 2016, Graeme has been Executive Director of the Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia, a role that sees regular interaction with state and federal politicians and extensive stakeholder engagement. Graeme is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and his leadership has seen him consistently re-elected each year for 14 years as chairman of two body corporates involving over 120 owners.

Graeme is close to the cause of Can Assist having lost both his parents to cancer and is fully committed to supporting rural communities to get the support they need and deserve.
